Darin Booth co-founded Cadent in 2003. Prior to forming Cadent, he worked as a Partner at RBC Capital Partners, the private equity arm of the Royal Bank of Canada, where he specialized in investing in privately held energy businesses within North America. Darin began his career as a Chartered Accountant and holds an Honors Bachelor of Commerce degree from McMaster University in Canada.

Darin currently serves on the board of directors of Energy Services Holdings, Liberty Lift and Sherwood and previously served on the boards of prior Cadent portfolio companies, Pipeline Supply and Service and Nucore.
